
Job Title: Artist Manager Assistant,
Part Time
Grumo Festival is a Michigan-based Corporation
in the field of music performance, artist management, and music
education. Its activities include a young yet established
international music festival in Italy,
the Binetto Grumo Festival; the organization of other related
events, such as, but not limited to, the 2012 New York Concerts; and
its newborn artist management. Grumo Festival seeks to manage
artists and to advance, promote and profit from its artist
management operations. Grumo Festival also seeks to further advance
all its other activities. Grumo Festival is looking for an Artist
Manager Assistant Part Time for its Grand Rapids, MI, office. Duties include office management
services including handling telephone calls, scheduling
appointments, preparing bid packages, interaction with artists under
contract with Grumo Festival and such other tasks as may be assigned
from time to time; making deposits and payment of Grumo Festival
approved expenses; management or co-management of the Grumo Festival
web site(s); setting up Grumo Festival’s artist management start up
operations; building and maintaining adequate reputation and
standing in the artist management industry; promoting Grumo
Festival’s signed artists, managing all bookings for Grumo
Festival’s signed artists, and managing all booking related
activities as needed before, during, and after the events; promoting
through adequate publicity all Grumo Festival events and activities
through Grumo Festival’s websites, social media, posters, ads, press
releases, etc; providing Grumo Festival and the artists with regular
reports of the various activities carried out. Qualifications
include knowledge of the music business and artist management or
willingness and commitment to learn the trade; some musical
knowledge, computer proficiency, outstanding communication skills.
Artist Manager Assistant is expected to be well organized and
detail-oriented. Degrees or in-progress degrees in the field or
related fields are considered a plus. All skills and abilities that
will assist Grumo Festival in achieving its goals are considered an
asset. Desired qualifications include ability with computer media
